The actors' cost-cutting ideas left his co-stars enthused on the sets of his upcoming film

Ranvir Shorey was recently shooting in Bangkok for director Imraan Khalid's upcoming movie. The actor has never been the conventional star, preferring to do things on his own terms. But the cast and crew were impressed with the dedication Ranvir displayed during the shoot. He left no stone unturned to cut costs and complete the shoot as scheduled.

The director says, `Ranvir would arrive early on the sets and rehearse the scenes. Looking at his zeal, his co-stars too would arrive early on the sets and rehearse.

While the crewmembers would be busy setting up lights and other necessary equipment, Ranvir would be rehearsing the scenes along with his co-stars. He was very supportive of the newcomers that largely comprise the cast.`

A source from the unit adds, `The director was surprised that every time he used to call action, it would turn out to be the final shot without any retake. Ranvir's idea of rehearsing really made sure that no video stock or time was wasted in giving extra takes. Everyone liked his idea and the efforts taken by him.`
