'Mera Dad Ki Maruti' actor is on a look out for a eating joint to treat his parents and sister Huma Qureshi on his birthday

His Bollywood debut film Mere Dad Ki Maruti may have had a smooth ride at the box office, but looks like Saqib Saleem has a tough task ahead. For his restaurateur-foodie dad, the young actor is in the lookout for the perfect eating place in Mumbai.

Sources close to Saqib say that his Delhi-based parents are all set to travel to Mumbai for the actor's upcoming birthday and Saqib has come up with a plan to take his parents and sister Huma Qureshi out for a meal.

Says our source, `Saqib wants to have his parents over in Mumbai for his birthday this year. His father owns a restaurant chain in Delhi and is also a foodie. He loves to have Mughlai food. Saqib wants to make sure his father has the best food in Mumbai.`


Saqib apparently has been making multiple trips to well-known eateries and hotels in the city to prepare for the big day in advance.

`He is also asking his friends to help him find the best place to eat out and is even browsing websites. Though Huma is always around, his parents seldom come to Mumbai. He wants to make their trip and his birthday a memorable day, ` adds the source.
