Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, who has wrapped up shooting for his Hindi film "Aman Ki Aasha", says it is a remake of a Spanish movie.

The 2004 Spanish film "Seres Queridos" ("Only Human") was a comic love story of a Jewish girl and a Palestinian boy, while the Hindi version has an Indo-Pak setting.

"It's about a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl. It's a romantic comedy. It's a remake of a Spanish film," Ali told. Yami Gautam plays his love interest in the movie.

"The shoot for the film was completed in March. Yami was a great co-star to work with," he added.

Directed by E. Niwas, "Aman Ki Aasha" is being produced by Neeraj Pandey.
