One-film old Varun Dhawan is interested in endorsing ayurvedic products because he feels such they are quite helpful.

"A lot of these ayurvedic products are very helpful and these are the ones people should try to endorse. The products are sold at the cheapest MRP and are the ones, which do so well, " the "Student Of The Year" actor told.

Having just entered the film industry, he is choosy about endorsement offers.

"I want to do brands that people can use, " said the actor currently seen endorsing chat application - We Chat - along with "Ishaqzaade" actress Parineeti Chopra.

"We shot two TVCs. These applications have become very important in our lives. It has replaced SMS completely, " he said.

The actor bonded with Parineeti a lot during the campaign.

"I didn't think I was working with her for the first time. We are similar in out approach towards work. She is professional, so things became easy. I spoke to her quite a bit about her family and realised that she is a very rooted girl, " he said.

Even though it is important for him to be connected with his fans, he "turns off" his phone while working.

"I am an actor and I need to act well. My focus has to be there... I would want to connect with my fans through my films, " he reasoned.

His next is "Main Tera Hero", being directed by his father David Dhawan.
