48 hours after her father passed away, Priyanka resumed her fitness training for her upcoming Mary Kom biopic

She is known for her professionalism and she has proved it again. It was just Monday when Priyanka Chopra's father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away after his prolonged battle with cancer.

The actress was obviously distraught at his funeral the same day and the prayer meet organised the next day. But sources say that on Wednesday evening, Priyanka was back at work, resuming her training for her upcoming Mary Kom biopic.

A source close to PC says, `Priyanka is going through the roughest phase in her life after her father passed away. She was extremely close to her dad. But her work comes first and on Wednesday evening, she was back at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Juhu office to work out with Olympic trainer Dr Christy Halbert. `

The film too is scheduled to go on the floors by next week. According to those close to the actress, Priyanka apparently didn't want to keep her trainers waiting, despite going through a personal tragedy.

The source adds, `PC is aware that the film is all set to go on the floors. Although Bhansali, who is producing the film, was ready to delay the shoot, PC decided to honour her professional commitments. She has also given her nod to start filming by next week. `
