When hubby Saif Ali Khan is in the lead, no surprises if Kareena Kapoor wants to have a say about which actress should star opposite him

And rumours are rife that Bebo could have had something to do with Esha Gupta recently being roped in opposite Saif in Sajid Khan's next.

A source says, `After doing Prakash Jha's Chakravyuh, Esha had gone off the Bollywood radar until news appeared about her doing Sajid's next. Sajid's alleged ex Jacqueline Fernandes was axed from the film only to be replaced by Esha. Apparently, Kareena put in a good word for the actress and that's how she was finalised.`


Esha is part of Kareena's next film with Imran Khan that is being directed by Punit Malhotra.

An insider says, `It was during the film's shooting that Esha got to know Kareena well. It was at the same time Sajid was looking for a heroine for his film. Kareena happened to tell Saif about Esha and that's how a meeting took place between Esha and the director and that's how she came on board. `
