Sources say Madhur Bhandarkar has approached the model-turned-actress for his next film apparently based on the life of a supermodel

If rumours are to be believed, Madhur Bhandarkar has already started work on his next film, believed to be apparently based on the life of a supermodel.

Industry insiders say that the director has approached model-turned-actress Deepika Padukone to play the pivotal role in the film. Almost all his films are said to have been inspired by real-life episodes.


A source says, `The script is naturally woman-centric and he is keen to have Deepika on board. ` Apparently, Dippy is yet to sign the dotted line. Those close to Madhur say Dippy was his first choice for the film tentatively titled Calendar Girl.

`Deepika is a former model and has been a calendar girl herself. Therefore she fits the bill perfectly. It will be interesting to see if she can accommodate her dates for this film, ` adds the source.
