'D-Day' cast were apparently in for a shock when Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha stole a march over them to bag business class seats on their flight

Shashi Tharoor once infamously compared sitting in the economy section of a flight as travelling `cattle class`.

One can only imagine the plight of Arjun Rampal and his co-stars Irrfan and Huma Qureshi, who were also flying economy, to discover that fellow actors Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha were on the same Jaipur- bound flight, comfortably seated in business class.

Apparently, the trio had initially wanted to fly business class but after they were told that tickets were no longer available on the already-full flight, they had to settle for the only remaining option.

A source says, `Arjun, Irrfan and Huma had been promised business class tickets by the makers of their film. But after the logistics didn't work out, they agreed to be accommodated in the economy class.`

Perhaps the sight of Ranveer and Sona in their plush seats had the three actors squirming in their own?

A source from the production house rues, `It was such an irony! Everyone was taken aback as to how they managed to procure those seats and we couldn't.`

Hope the rest of the ride remained uneventful for the trio.
