Actress Huma Qureshi says she it makes her glad to watch the "little" effort of the team of "Shorts" make it to the big screen.

"Shorts", which has five short stories by five directors - Neeraj Ghaywan, Shlok Sharma, Siddharth Gupta, Anirban Roy and Rohit Pandey - is co-produced by Guneet Monga and Anurag Kashyap. It releases Friday.

"I feel so happy and proud that finally you (can) see that little effort, those baby steps we took, where we made a film with so much passion and love and very little money. To see them on the big screen and hear all the applause, it feels great," the 26-year-old said here Wednesday at a special screening of "Shorts".

Huma, who is one among the various actors who feature in the movie, feels the new directors will leave an important mark on the industry with their films.

"I'm so proud of all my friends, all the directors who have come together and made these films. These are new voices, new directors and I really feel that in the coming years, they all are going to leave a very important mark in the kind of films that we make," Huma said.

The five short films are titled "Sujata", "Epilogue", "Audacity", "Mehfuz" and "Shor".
