An essential privilege and prerogative for every actor denied to Nargis in her debut film Rockstar where her co-star Ranbir tried his utmost to polish up her Hindi to the extent that she would be able to speak her own lines.

But it didn't work out.

Now Ranbir can smile to hear Nargis speaking in her own voice in her second film.


But there is a catch to this. Nargis plays a European journalist. So she doesn't have to speak any Hindi.

Nargis' accent sounds distinctly American. But that's another story altogether.
