The trend of going the extra mile to do justice to a role is fast catching up. And Ranbir Kapoor appears to be the latest addition to the list

The actor who is shooting for his next film in Sri Lanka has been training hard to get into the skin of his character.

Ranbir plays a street fighter in the film set in the 1960s. For that, he is training in raw action and martial arts. Our source says, `So much so that he's undergoing extreme physical training.

In fact, even while shooting for Abhinav Kashyap's upcoming film, he would be working with his trainers in between breaks. He is pretty excited about the film and does not want to leave any stone unturned.`

The source adds, `Ranbir will sport a different look in the film and is growing his hair for it. This is something that he has never done before, so he wants to have a distinct look and have all the training possible to look convincing in the shoes of a street fighter.`
