After a spectacular start with Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa... actor Imran Khan seemed to have lost the way with his next two films.

However, he bounced back with I Hate Luv Storys and his career has been steady since then. All excited about the release of his upcoming film that also has Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, the cute actor talks to CS about his rapport with Akshay Kumar, chocolate boy image and why competition doesn't bother him.

Bonding with Akki
Akshay Kumar is someone I have loved throughout my life. Let me tell you that it's impossible not to like him. He's funny, charming and totally down-to-earth.

Stars like Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan have that aura of stardom around them, and so does Akshay. However, after you interact with Akshay for more than five minutes, you feel like you are talking to a friend. He is someone you can talk with in a really bindass manner. This is the most unique quality about him.

Chocolate boy and beyond
I have never considered myself as cute. So, I have never tried to cash in on my chocolate-boy image, which people talk about. While choosing films, I opt for ones that are entertaining and engaging for the audience. As an actor, my idea is to blend in with the film in entirety.

In Delhi Belly, the three guys had equal screen space and importance in the story. For me, it was crucial to fit in as Tashi in the film. I want my fans to remember my character and not me. Once I achieve that, I feel like I have been successful in my endeavour.

Illusion of competition
There can't be any competition amongst actors. Even if my competitor's film flops, I can't say that my film is going to be a hit. Someone else's failure doesn't guarantee my success. As far as work is concerned, I think that all of us have enough work and space in Bollywood right now, with the kind of films being made.

No time for love
The biggest tragedy of my life has been the fact that I haven't been able to get a week off since the past 12 months. I am not able to take out time for Avantika (his wife) the way I want to. In fact, I have no personal life (laughs out loud) at all. However, I know that this is work and want to give it my best.
