Priyanka Chopra teamed up with Ram Charan and pulled a fast one on their 'Zanjeer' director Apoorva Lakhia

On the sets of their upcoming film, Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan may let director Apoorva Lakhia call the shots, but off it they decided to take matters in their own hands to pull a prank on him.

Recently, a flurry of SMSes went out from Lakhia's cell phone informing his near and dear ones that he was all set to tie the knot.

Incidentally, the director's marriage is long pending and the two actors decided to make merry on the matter. A source from the sets says, `Ram and PC want Apu, as they fondly address him, to tie the knot soon. It also happened to be there favourite topic of discussion. They went snooping into Lakhia's phone and sent out a very mischievous text message to his phone contacts including his parents.`

What ensued was a total laugh riot as Lakhia was inundated with congratulatory calls and he had a tough time explaining the actual picture to people.
