He is from a film family and has been working as an actor for the past five years, but Imran Khan has not made friends yet. He says most of his friends are not from the industry.

"I consider that friendship takes more time. I have been here for five years, not enough time to call someone a good friend. So it takes time...," Imran, who bowed into Hindi films with 2008 hit puppy love story "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na", told.

He is the grandson of late filmmaker Nasir Hussain and nephew of superstar Aamir Khan.

"You work so much in the industry. When you come home, you don't want to continue to live in the same world. Some people are ok with it, but I can't. My friends tend not to be from the same bubble," he added.

During his free time, Imran does not feel like doing anything.

"I do nothing. I spend so much time doing so many things that in your down time, you do nothing. You read, watch movies, sit at home, and visit friends," he said.

In five years, he has done films like "I Hate Luv Storys", "Delhi Belly", "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" and "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu".

Now he will be see in underworld drama "Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara".

"Every time I asked if I am changing my image now, I don't know how to answer that. As an actor, you don't think about these things, you see if there is an interesting film and you do it. You don't see how people will see you and all, that is irrelevant," he said.

Imran decided to do Milan Luthria's "Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara" for the sake of the script.

Praising the director and the writer's creativity, he said: "I read the script and I couldn't stop turning the pages. I feel that Milan's strength as a director and Rajat's (Rajat Arora) sense as a writer is in juicing those moments of drama. They know how to build it up and raise the stakes."
