Insiders say Rishi Kapoor has been keeping a close tab on his star son Ranbir's goings and comings at home

Ranbir Kapoor has grabbed as many headlines for his alleged dalliances as his films. And according to sources, dad Rishi Kapoor is being driven up the wall with his son's antics. Though the veteran actor has been playing the cool card, sources close to the Kapoor khandaan say that he is rather irked with Ranbir's romances.

Insiders say that whenever his son is in town, Rishi makes it a point to keep a tab on Ranbir's whereabouts. And the trusted watchman at the Krishna Raj bungalow is apparently doing daddy's dirty job.


A source says, `When Ranbir is in the city, the senior Kapoor keeps calling his watchman to enquire about him. Apparently he keeps a check on what time Ranbir comes home and even about those who accompany him.`

Recently, there was buzz that the Kapoor bungalow in Bandra is undergoing renovation work with a new doorway being fitted to provide the star son with a separate entrance and exit to his room. Perhaps that will give Ranbir some much-needed privacy?
