Looks like all the anticipation around Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut in the Fast and Furious 7 is all in vain. Amidst strong rumours that the actress will not be a part of the blockbuster franchisee, our sources say that Deepika had still not signed the dotted line for the project.

Sources close to the actress say she tried her best to accommodate her dates for her Hollywood debut but work commitments back home spoilt her plans. She apparently had no choice but to pull out of the running.


An insider says, `Deepika is currently neck-deep with work. She is shooting for Happy New Year and Ram Leela. For Fast and Furious 7, Dippy was required to give dates from September to January next year. The actress was finalised for the project while she was in Dubai. Unfortunately, the announcement came even before she could return to Mumbai and sign the film.`

Those close to Dippy say that since the actress was aware of her crammed schedule, she had refrained from issuing an official statement.
