As part of Akshay Kumar's 46th birthday celebrations (September 9), the star's fans have been organising blood donation camps across the country

His Nagpur fan club had 56 members donate blood besides celebrate his birthday at a local orphanage. The Khiladi's fan club at Solapur had 36 members donate blood followed by a food and books distribution drive for needy kids.

The West Bengal Fan Club is also arranging a blood donation camp in Hooghly. Touched by the gesture of his fans, Akshay stated on his micro-blogging site, `Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Saying it as many times won't be enough.

Blessed to get so much love... saw so many of you celebrating my birthday as if it was your own... cutting cakes, treating friends But what touched me most was how some of you celebrated my birthday at orphanages and even organised blood donation camps.
