Sushant Singh Rajput is turning out to be one of the most "inspiring" young actors in the country, said Shekhar Kapur, director of the upcoming film 'Paani', which will have an ensemble cast of Indian and Western stars.

"It's going to be an exciting director-actor collaboration with him on 'Paani'," Kapur said, adding that Sushant will be joined by a young leading actress from the West. 'Paani' is set in the world of the future where wars over water have broken out.

The plot revolves around how international corporations use thirst as a weapon of control. In one such future city, a young couple breaks all the rules and in the ensuing war, water flows back to its people.


Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film will be shot in India and overseas. AR Rehman has composed music for the film, which is likely to go on the floor by mid-2014. This is Sushant's second film under the Yash Raj Films banner after 'Shudh Desi Romance'.
