Underworld don Chhota Shakeel has reportedly threatened singer- turned-actor Sonu Nigam, who has approached the police telling that he has received threat calls.

According to the police Dawood Ibrahim gang member made several threat calls asking him to change the event management company that will handle his 2014 world tour.

Sources say if necessary police will provide him security after ascertaining facts from him.

Sources also say the caller warned him that they'll malign his image by making public some details of his friendship with an influential woman of a prominent family in Mumbai.
