Mallika Sherawat asked Rahul Mahajan, who was a guest on her reality show 'The Bachelorette India' about his father's identity

Mallika Sherawat is known for putting her foot in the mouth. Bollywood's sex siren loves to grab attention by her brazen and obnoxious remarks. Here's one more instance when the motormouth's antics (or ignorance?) raised eyebrows.

During the shoot of her on-going reality dating game show The Bachelorette India, she suddenly turned to Rahul Mahajan (who features as a guest on the show) and asked him, `Who is your father and what does he do?` Says a source, `Rahul, who is a regular on reality shows, came on the show as a friend of host Rohit Roy. During the episode's shoot he interacted with the contestants and played word games with them.`

Adds the source, `After the shoot, Mallika and Rahul were chatting in general with some unit folk. When all of a sudden Mallika asked Rahul who is your father? What does he do? Hearing this Rahul did not know what to say or react but quietly left the spot.`

Later the contestants told Mallika that Rahul's father was the late Pramod Mahajan, a senior Bharatiya Jananta Party who died in tragic circumstances. `Mallika just did not react. Either she really didn't know or perhaps she thought this was one more addition to her long list of Mallika-isms,` the source adds.


Mallika's poser immediately did the rounds of the sets and the unit thought she would perhaps go up to Rahul again. But she preferred to be indifferent and Rahul thought it was best to keep mum about it.`
