Bollywood actress Mahie Gill is a somewhat different person. She would not mind small roles and item numbers if they help her to perform better in the industry.

The actress who shot to fame with her role as Paro in Dev D, says that she doesn't mind grooving to the tunes of item numbers. She reveals that it was only after she did a dance number in Punjabi movie Carry on Jatta that the directors realized that she can dance also. `Since then I have been flooded with offers for item songs. I am happy with my dance number in Zanjeer and am looking forward for my next in Saif Ali Khan's Bullet Raja,` she adds.

Mahie responds to a question that stereotyped roles do not interest her. She is very choosy about her scripts she does not make a conscious decision to pick up un-conventional roles. If she likes the script she goes for it. It may be recalled that Mahie is known for intense roles in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series. After doing bold roles she can not settle for something less. On her mind are more comedies and action movies and also a film based on sports.
