Tigmanshu Dhulia has shot the climax of his upcoming film starring Saif Ali Khan

Producer-director Tigmanshu Dhulia is known to shoot his films in the hinterland. In his upcoming film, Bullet Raja, starring Saif Ali Khan, he has shot the climax sequence at Kakori, near Lucknow.

Kakori is part of Indian history when in 1925 Indian revolutionaries snatched the government's treasury from a train. The incident is referred to as the Kakori conspiracy case. The robbery plan was executed by revolutionaries like Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan and Chandrashekhar Azad among others.

Dhulia says, `I love history and for me it was a great moment to shoot at Kakori. We shot high-action sequences and there was a lot of risk involved. Getting the permissions to shoot was not a problem. We had to shoot scenes like Saif sliding his bike on the tracks which was a task. We did a lot of rehearsals so there weren't many takes for the shots,` he added.

According to a source, `Every time a train would pass, the crew had to stop the shooting. We had to remove the set and put it again. Thankfully there aren't many trains which pass Kakori railway station but still it was quite a task as a huge crowd would collect to watch the shoot.`
