The scriptwriter duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar will be sharing a stage together after a long time

The combination of Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan gifted Hindi cinema several classics. However, lately, the two have rarely been seen together. That status quo is expected to change at the trailer launch of the 3D version of Sholay.

It's been 38 years since Sholay released and now, the scriptwriters duo is slated to unveil the trailer.

Apparently, the producers have planned the promotions in a big way and they are looking forward to invite the entire industry for the mass screenings.

According to a source close to the 3D film which took three years complete, `Salim-Javed will share the same platform after a long time. It's going to be a memorable event.`

UTV spokesperson confirmed the development.
