Nargis Fakhri's recent visit to Kolkata ended on a sour note.

The actress, who was in the City of Joy, for a fashion extravaganza was unknowingly made into a damsel-in-distress. Former West Indies cricketer Brian Lara was also present at the event.

Says a source, `There seemed to have been more action off the catwalk at the event. Some people apparently made themselves difficult to handle during the proceedings. There was a fracas with the organisers and these people. Some of them appeared to be in an inebriated state.`

Adds the source, `The problem arose because the bar was opened half-way through the show. As soon as Nargis had finished walking the ramp as the showstopper, she was told that there would be interactions with the people present. But by that time, a fight had broken out between the unruly crowd and she was led out of the venue, elsewhere in the hotel.`

A source close to Nargis states, `She had no clue what unfolded at the event as she was led away from the scene. She got to know what had transpired only later.`
