Make-up artist has a tough time on the sets to get a bullet mark right for a scene in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film
Make-up artistes took more than half a day to get a bullet mark right for one particular scene in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, Ram Leela.
Sharad Kelkar featured in the shot and (below) director Sanjay Leela Bhansali
There was a shot where telly actor Sharad Kelkar, who features in the film, has been shot.
A source present on the sets says, `The make-up alone took half a day because getting the right effect of the blood on Sharad's body took time. Bhansali being the perfectionist did not okay the shot till everything from the make-up to the performance was perfect.`
Make-up artist Subhash Shinde says, `Yes, it took half a day to finish that one particular shot, the delay was due to no other reason but because it was difficult to get the right effect of blood after each take.`
He adds, `Matching the shades for the entire sequence was quite a task, as the director is particular about the colours he uses in his shots. Also, the continuity had to be maintained throughout the shot.`
