In an industry where friendships are given utmost importance, it is a surprise that Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Sanjay Gupta have not worked with each other for more than a decade.

Not many know that Ajay and Sanjay have been pals for almost two decades now. They were buddies since their college days, but somehow the two didn't work together except for a commercial 11 years back.

A common friend says, `The two didn't join hands sooner perhaps because of Gupta's fierce loyalty towards Sanjay Dutt.`


Gupta recently directed Ajay for a suiting brand TV commercial. The director says, `Ajay is one of the most stylish stars.`

The TVC was supposed to be shot by Rohit Shetty, who is a close friend of Ajay. Rohit apparently couldn't commit dates for the commercial as he is busy with the work for his next film.
