The casting of Mohit Suri's provisionally titled The Villain is getting increasingly hot and interesting.

Adding to the excitement of the first-time pairing of heart throbs Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, Balaji announced Riteish Deshmukh in a pivotal role, further notching up the film's star power.

While much of the remaining cast is being kept under wraps, it is confirmed now that Kamaal R. Khan has been signed to play an extended cameo in the film, which is currently under production in Mumbai.

It is believed that Khan has already shot for two days.

"His role is hysterical," says a source. "He is both hilarious and diabolical."

There is no doubt that 'The Villain' is easily among the most keenly anticipated films of 2014.
