Sharman Joshi has been busy shooting and dubbing for his films back- to-back, but whenever he has time on hand, he and his wife Prerna watch a lot of plays.

The actor began with theatre and featured in Gujarati plays like All The Best and Ame Lai Gaya, Tamhe Rahe Gaya. His father Arvind Joshi and aunt Sarita Joshi are also well-known in the theatre world.

The actor says, `Theatre has always been close to me and with dad in the same field, it runs in my blood. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the audience's reaction live. It's a great stress-buster too.`
