Though she may not belong to Gen X, the talented Supriya Pathak knows the dictates of the current entertaiment industry.

She tells CS, `Earlier, Hindi cinema was not so advanced with limited work for an actor. Also, people were skeptical about joining the industry.

But now the scenario has changed -- globalisation is generating more films and people are looking up to the profession as well as to actors.

Television has become a very demanding medium with people rushing to meet deadlines and thereby compromising on the quality of the content. It's better in the West, they shoot for a season at a relaxed pace and then take a break.`
