Bollywood's "Dabangg" star Salman Khan is a hit among the masses and will take to a single screen theatre here to launch the trailer of his forthcoming movie "Jai Ho" in their company.

Rather than taking the usual route of organising a press meet for the trailer launch, Salman will unveil the look of the movie in the presence of his fans at the Chandan single screen theatre Thursday, said a statement.

A spokesperson for the film said: "Salman Khan wants people to be there at the launch of the trailer."

This way, the actor will get a chance to watch the live reaction of the audience and he will also interact with his fans and the media present there later.

Directed by Sohail Khan, "Jai Ho" also features Tabu and Om Puri. It is slated to release Jan 24, 2014.
