Nagesh Kukunoor's upcoming film Lakshmi has been invited to the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2014 in California, US.

One of the jury members of the festival happened to see the film and liked it. Nagesh says, `I am over the moon that the film has been selected. The event is noted for screening most foreign Oscar nominees. I am keeping my fingers crossed.` The festival is from January 3-13.
