South superstar Madhavan, who plays a Bihari character in his next Hindi film "Ramji Londonwaley", is actually half "Bihari" at heart.

Maddy spent most of his growing up years in Jamshedpur where his parents were working for Tata. And this half "Bihari" trait has helped him play the character of "Ramji", a small time cook from Bihar who lands up in London.

The film's director Sanjay Dayma, the writer of "Lagaan", says Maddy was very comfortable in the role.

"Since Maddy has grown up in Jamshedpur, he found a comfort factor in playing the character of Ramji, especially in scenes where he speaks in a Bihari dialect."
