Anil and Sunita Kapoor visit the Balaji temple as a token of gratitude for a successful year

Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita recently visited the Balaji temple in Tirupati.

A source says, `Anil had been planning to visit Balaji for a long time, but was not getting time off from his busy schedule. A few weeks ago, the shoot of his show, 24, wrapped up and got a break from his other commitments and decided to fly to Tirupati with his wife.`

Adds the source, `Anil feels his family and he have had a good year and he wanted to thank the lord for it. His ongoing TV show 24 got decent ratings and he is now planning a second season. Moreover, his daughters Sonam and Rhea have begun their next film and Sonam had two successful films this year. Also his son Harshvardhan has signed his first film with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra. Therefore he made this quick trip.`

Anil says, `It has been a great year. Sunita has been particularly keen to visit and pay her respects.`
