A fan of Tamil actor Rajnikant has seen his latest film "Chandramukhi" every day for 100 days.

The film completed 100 days last Friday and has been a huge draw in Tamil Nadu theatres.

Muthu, a 22-year-old vegetable vendor from Coimbatore city, 500 km from here, began his record stint on the first day of the film's release itself.

Sources at the Kumaran theatre, where he saw the film for one show every day, say Muthu paid for the film for the first 50 days. The theatre then allowed Muthu to watch the film free every day.

This is a record of sorts for Tamil Nadu, says Rajnikant's fan club.
