Vindoo Dara Singh who won the third season of the Bigg Boss contest is pretty sure that Armaan Kohli's shocking arrest from the Bigg Boss house on Monday night for allegedly assaulting Sofia Hayat , is unwarranted.

This, despite the fact that Vindoo's brother had once got into a brawl with Armaan.

Says Vindoo, `I think Sofia Hyatt is doing all this for publicity. What exactly has he done?We all know Armaan is an aggressive guy and also he is not respectful towards women. We all know his reputation. He may have lost his cool. He may jave acted aggressively with the lady. But he couldn't have caused her any bodily harm. It's just not possible. If Armaan had assaulted her all the Bigg Boss contestants would have risen in protest against him,` reasons Vindoo.

When informed that, Sofia claims she was hit with a mop Vindoo retorts, `If she had been hit the other contestants would have kicked up a fuss and Armaan would've been thrown out. Just because he touched her with a mop, Armaan is a criminal? Every day in India men beat up their wives and daughters. What has he done? Show the footage on television. What has he done that they couldn't wait for him to come out before arresting him? And Armaan's father filmmaker Raj Kumar Kohli is such a lovely man. Armaan is violent. But don't do this to him.`

Vindoo feels the cops are jumping the gun. `Nowadays they like to see their pictures in papers and on television. Any complaint against a man by a woman and that man is cooked booked and locked away. I completely stand by what Farooq Abdullah said. Nowadays one has to be very careful in one's dealings with women. They've all the rights and privileges. Now if the Lok Pal Bill is passed cops would have all the powers to do anything they want.`

Vindoo feels Sofia is being misguided. `The publicity managers must have advised her to do all this. If she was really hurt why was she so calm when she came out of the house? Baahar nikli PRO ne ussey idea diya, usske kiya. What is her plan? She wants to become Katrina Kaif? Then she should have tried 18 years.`

Reminiscing over his own stint in Bigg Boss Vindoo says, `I was very calm. I must have fought three times in three months. Compared with the contestants in the current season I was a saint. These guys are fighting like crazy.`

He says the contestants are not instructed to behave aggressively. `We were not told anything. Once we entered the Bigg Boss house we behaved how we wanted. If the contestants are behaving aggressively it is their choice. The point is, the contestants' natural personalities change under pressure. Look at the contestants this season: Kamya Punjabi, Kushal Tandon, Gauhar Khan, Andy, Armaan....super-headstrong. These guys fight non-stop. With such people around there are bound to be fights. If more pacifists like Rattan Rajput, Tanissha and Sangram were around there would be no fights.`

Coming back to Armaan, Vindoo says, `Let me tell you something. There are bouncers standing right outside the Bigg Boss house. The minute someone misbehaves they rush in to control the unruly contestant. When Kamal R Khan had thrown a bottle at me and Shamita Shetty we insisted he leave, and he had to. A few nights before the finale when I was on Bigg Boss, Pravesh Rana's brain got so f..ked he threw all the food away.

That place and the unusual circumstances make contestants behave strangely. I never cry. In the Bigg Boss house I'd cry every day. This show is not for the weak-hearted. The female wrestler Sonika Kaliraman came in pregnant. She told me, 'Vinod Bhaiyya, I felt my child would abort in there. She requested to be let out. Anyone who wants to go is allowed. There was a time I wanted to leave. I was made to talk to a psychologist and stayed on. She cleared my mind. The brain gets scrambled in there.`

Bigg Boss , says Vindoo, brought him immense recognition. `Anywhere I go people recognize me for Bigg Boss.`
