Double Ton: 'Dhoom 3' collects Rs 202 Cr worldwide in just 4 days

In Bollywood there is an unwritten unsaid rule which states that, "records are meant to be broken", and the year which is going by seems to be the year strictly adhering to the norm. When SRK's "Chennai Express" broke the long standing record of Aamir's "3 Idiots" probably no one would have have imagined that this success of "Chennai Express" is going to be very short lived. And soon after it was Hrithik's Sci-fi saga "Krrish 3" which demolished the record of "Chennai Express" just like a castle of cards.

And now keeping in view the pace at which recently released "Dhoom 3" is proceeding towards highest BO grosser bench-mark, it looks like even the record made by "Krrish 3" is not safe. If recent reports pertaining to Dhoom 3's collection are to be believed then in its 4 day cineplex run "Dhoom 3" has raked in approximately 202 Crores world-wide.

While revealing the official earning figures of "Dhoom 3" in these four days noted cine trend analyst, Taran Adarsh has tweeted that:

"So here's *Fri to Mon* total of #Dhoom3... India ₹ 129.32 cr + Overseas 73.17 cr. Worldwide total: ₹ 202.49 cr. MIND-BOGGLING!"

After SRK's "Chennai Express", Hrithik's "Krrish 3" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela", "Dhoom 3" has emerged as fourth film of the year to enter the elite 200 Crore club.

While tossing a prophesy about possibilities of Dhoom 3's emerging as one of the biggest BO grosser of all time Taran even tweeted that:

"At the rate it is racing ahead, #Dhoom3 should cross Rs 150 cr today [Tue] and cross Rs 200 cr nett by Fri/Sat. All languages. India biz."

Well after witnessing the ongoing record breaking spree of "Dhoom 3", probably there remains no doubt about the fact that after remaining away from Mr Perfectionist for quite sometime the tiara of having biggest BO grosser to his name may shortly return to Aamir.
