Technical glitches have corrupted the video footage of the making of Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film

The makers of Gunday have lost some of the video footage of the making of the film due to technical glitches. Says a unit member, "The making of the film is something that holds special significance for a film's cast and crew as it chronicles their journey with the film.

In fact, the video had captured some beautiful moments; it was replete with off-screen incidents that we would have loved to share with audiences. But now the footage has become corrupt and it doesn't look like it can be recovered now.`

The source adds that with young actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh playing pranks on the sets, the former had requested a dekko at the video footage of the same.

`But when he got to know that the behind-the-scenes video is no longer available, he was disheartened. During the shoot, Arjun and Ranveer would even hedge bets on the number of crunches and pullups each could do.

Their workout sessions would have made for fun viewing as the duo would often challenge each other. Now a chunk of this video has been irretrievably lost,` says the source.

A spokesperson for the film confirmed the development.
