Talk show host Shekhar Suman will set up a cardiac hospital in his hometown here in memory of his son Ayush who died of a heart ailment.
Suman said at a function here that the hospital would be one way of paying back debts to the people of his home in the Bihar capital.
The TV star, famous for his take-offs on Bihar politicians, particularly Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, said the proposed hospital would be an ultra-modern one, equipped with
the latest gadgets.
"After my heart hospital is set up, nobody will go out of Bihar for heart treatment. That is my dream," he said.
Suman, who was visiting Patna after four years, said he would be visiting regularly now.
"I am proud to be born here and I always take pride in my Bihari roots. It is an emotional matter. It is a matter of the heart," Suman told.
The actor and his wife spent most of their time here with his parents, who live in a middle class locality. His father is a doctor. His teenaged son died a few years ago.
