Ajai Sinha who has directed sensitive TV serials like Hasratein and Astitva Ek Prem Kahani on Zee TV has succumbed to the current Bollywood trend of incorporating
sizzling item numbers in his directorial venture The Bachelor.
Ajai has shot an item number for his film with the controversial item number girl Negar Khan. The Bachelor is his second film after Stop as a director.
The film stars Sharman Joshi, Riya Sen, Raima Sen, Manish Nagpal, Manoj Pahwa and Himani Shivpuri. It is being produced by Mahendra Dhariwal under the banner of
Dhariwal Films.
Says Ajai Sinha, "It has somehow become customary for every film to have an item number. My film The Bachelor is no exception to the rule. TV has its own idiom and film
has its own grammar. Nigar Khan was the unanimous choice for the item number for our film."
He adds, "We picturised the number Mere Ghagre Mein Ho Gayi Dhoom Dhaam sung by Vinod Rathod and Kalpana and composed by Dabboo Malik on Nigar and Sharman
Joshi."
It now remains to be seen how much impact this hot and sexy item number can create in the hearts of all the bachelors when The Bachelor hits the screen sometime in
September this year.
