Actor Jimmy Shergill is amused about rumours that he has shifted base to Punjab. He tells us, "People have a misconception that I am doing only Punjabi films.

This is not true. I am just selective about my work in Bollywood which gives the impression. I have produced four Punjabi films following a suggestion that we start our own production team.


There is a difference between Bollywood and Punjabi cinema. The Punjabi audience likes family-centric films. Bollywood movies have different genres from action violence, comedy and drama while Punjabi filmmakers do not like to experiment much."
