In what appears to be a desperate attempt to 'vilify' Zee TV and television actor Raqesh Vashisth from the daily soap Qubool Hai, a YouTube video is doing its rounds on Facebook and Twitter.

The video contains recordings of twelve teenage girls, seven school kids, three ladies and one guy, expressing support for actor Karan Singh Grover, who has been ousted from the show and replaced by Vashisth. These so-called 'fans' are demanding Karan's comeback on the show, while a website has edited and posted the video on the net.

Some of these 'fans' seem to be from abroad and have an identifiable accent, while others speak lines that seem to have been 'rehearsed' before. In a particular instance, we can even hear a voice 'prompting' one of the 'fans', while the kids obviously would have required 'guidance' to give interviews. Another speaker tries to justify the outburst as 'Mission Justice for Karan'.

The content of the video can be deemed explosive as there are constant negative references to the media powerhouse Zee TV apart from verbal attacks on the show's actor Raqesh Vashisth.

`Fans are fans and they can say anything they wish. But at the same time, one needs to be careful not to cross legal boundaries,` analyzes Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the media for some of India's most controversial celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty, Shiney Ahuja, Rakhi Sawant, Vivek Oberoi and the self-proclaimed godman Swami Nithyananda.

`Even when we publicists train film actors about countering crisis with the help of media, we constantly remind them to be careful about what is said on camera as video recordings could go a long way in prosecution, sometimes even after years,` the publicist points out, concerned for these so-called 'fans'.

`These twenty-three faces and voices may have knowingly or unknowingly put themselves in a vulnerable position,` rues the publicity expert. For the record, Karan Singh Grover, also known as KSG, played the role of Asad opposite actress Surbhi Jyoti who plays Zoya in Qubool Hai. Together, the characters are also known as Asya on social media.
