Music director duo Vishal-Shekhar are on cloud nine, with the music of "Salaam Namaste" registering record sales. After the "Dus Bahane" number, it is the title track of
"Salaam Namaste" that is the craze of the audiences.
"I guess 'Dus Bahane' gave us a certain mass appeal after what we did in 'Jhankar Beats'. It is definitely heartening to know that people have endorsed the music in full
measure. The title track is a craze so is the 'My dil goes' number," Vishal was quoted as saying.
The musical success of the film definitely has a lot to do with the banner of Yashraj and the cast of the film, he admitted.
"It does make a lot of difference that it is a Yash Chopra film, starring Saif (Ali Khan) and Preity (Zinta), who rank high on the popularity charts. In fact, we are expecting the
music sales to go up further once the film is released," he reveals.
The duo has now been signed to do the music of Ashtavinayak's "Gol Maal", besides Milan Luthria's "Taxi No. Nau Do Gyarah".
