Kerala star Meera Jasmine is returning to Kannada cinema soon in an as yet untitled film.

The film, to be produced by K. Manju, will have superstar Vishnuvardhan playing the role of her brother. Anirudh is being paired opposite her.

Meera made a mark with her very first Kannada film "Mourya" with Puneet Raj Kumar. Her smile and lively acting were the major attractions of this box-office hit.

She, however, did not accept any Kannada film offer after "Mourya". Becoming choosy about film roles created opportunities for other aspiring actresses from Kerala.

Meera had become even more selective about her films after she started producing the Tamil remake of her Malayalam film "Kasturimaan", directed by her mentor Lohit Dass.

Manju has refused to reveal how he managed to persuade Meera to change her mind.
