Varun Dhawan is literally 'Rock'ing these days. The actor is on a high after his screen idol, Hollywood action superstar Dwayne Johnson - popularly known as The Rock - complimented him on a microblogging site.

Says Varun, "He is my hero. This is the biggest fanboy moment of my life. I have watched him through my childhood. For him to look forward to my work and mention me is crazy. In school, my seniors used to make me imitate him and today, he has acknowledged me." While promoting his upcoming release, David Dhawan's Main Tera Hero, on a television comedy show, Varun had impersonated Johnson. The performance had elicited a reaction from the Hollywood actor, stating, "I can't wait to see this! Keep hearing it's amazing. It damn well better be!'
