Rumour has it that the cricketer has been approached to take part in a dance reality show

The seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will be launched after a couple of months and the creative team has already started approaching celebrities from various fields. The latest buzz suggests that the show's makers want to have cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on board.

A source says, `Shikhar is quite popular among the youth; keeping this in mind, we have approached him to be on our show. We are in talks with his team and things are yet to get finalised. We still need to discuss his fees and his dates.`

Recent reports also suggest that singer Honey Singh, despite being offered a whopping amount to star in this show, has turned it down. It seems that the production house is now looking to feature another singer in the show. A source says, `Besides this, we have also approached TV actors Sanaya Irani, Kunal Karan Kapoor, Manit Joura and Mouni Roy. Some of them have agreed to be a part of the show.`

The channel's spokesperson remained unavailable for comment. An official from the production house says, `I cannot confirm or deny this news.`
