Newbie actor Sidharth Malhotra today finished the shooting of Mohit Suri's 'Ek Villain'. The film will see Sidharth, 29, shedding his guy-next-door image and exploring his dark side for the first time.

It also marks the return of Mohit after the success of 'Aashiqui 2' last year and stars Shraddha Kapoor in the female lead. "Ek Villain shoot done! Being bad never felt Better, all of us have given our heart and soul, thank you Mohit and all in team Villian," Sidharth posted on twitter.


'Ek Villain' has been produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures. Earlier this month, the romantic-thriller's first trailer had crossed a million views online within three days of its launch. 'Ek Villain' is slated to release on June 27.
