Abhishek Awasthi plans to tie the knot with fiancee Kalpana Sonawane this year.

The actor, who features in the TV show, 'Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai', says that his girlfriend is not from the industry and also proudly adds that she is such a great cook that the cast and crew of the soap love her cooking.


Abhishek, best remembered as Rakhi Sawant's boyfriend, had earlier grabbed headlines when she had slapped him in public, while he had said he regretted being Rakhi's boyfriend.


While Rakhi is now busy politicking, her ex-flame is busy with his wedding plans.
