Her debut "Intehaa" was a non-starter at the box-office and her second release "Mashooka" only proved to be a "mistake" - that's how she herself puts it. But Vidya Malavade is hardly the one to give up and is looking forward to Bobby Behl's "U, Bomsi And Me" and Amit Saxena's "Take 2".

"I am counting on the two films to put my career on the right track," the model-turned-actress was quoted as saying.

"U, Bomsi And Me" is about couples who begin to take each other's existence for granted in the hectic pace of day-to-day life. Vidya plays the role of the nagging wife, while producer Bobby Behl makes his acting debut as Bomsi.

However, it is her double take in "Take-2" that Vidya is really excited about. She is paired in the film opposite Shiny Ahuja and Karan Oberoi. "I have two different identities in the film, one of a model and the other of a fashion designer," she says.

Ask her about "Mashooka" and Vidya balks. "I don't like associating my name with the film. It was a mistake in my career. When I signed the film, I definitely did not expect it to acquire the tag of a sleazy film...

"The fact that one of my modelling colleagues, Aditya Bal, was also there in the film gave me an added assurance. Neither of us realised that the sex element would eventually dominate in the film with Meghna Naidu's presence."
