In Shoojit Sircar's Vickey Donor John had done a special promotional song. Now in his new production quirkily titled Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai John will again be seen making a guest appearance.

The film is a small-budget whimsical rom-com directed by writer Arshad Sayyed who has recently written another quirky marital comedy Shaadi Ke Side Effects.Arshad has also written many episodes of the Ronit Roy courtroom drama Adalat.

The film which is shot entirely in Bhopal(a favourite city for Bollywood films ever since Prakash Jha shot his political dramas there) stars television actor Barun Sobti(of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon), Harshvardhan Rane(model turned actor who has done 3 Telugu films) , Ridhima Sood(seen in Ballad Of Rustom) and Sapna Pabbi(Anil Kapoor's kidnapped daughter in the serial 24)


Shedding light on Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai Shoojit Sircar who co-produces the film with John says, `It's set in Bhopal during a wedding and the fun ride that ensues. It's about two different families, their problems, confusions and disputes...all the drama tension and humour comes tumbling out.Should be fun.`

John will make a very special cameo appearance in Satrah Ko Shaadi Hai.
