Filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who got married to actress Rani Mukerji in a private ceremony in Italy late last month, hosted a reception for his friends at the Yashraj Bungalow on Sunday night. Several Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Anupam Kher with wife Kirron Kher and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant attended the party.

DNA report says that security was beefed up for the reception and no photographers were allowed around the venue. The couple did not even step out for a moment to pose for curious photographers and did their best to keep the party away from the media eye.


Earlier in the day, Rani was clicked by a fan at the Mumbai airport. She was dressed casually in jeans and a red jacket.

Aditya and Rani were dating for a few years before they got married on April 21 and announced their marriage through a statement the next day.
